FATAL CAR CRASH ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2020 IN SAN DIEGO

Authorities have identified the two women who were killed in a fatal car crash Wednesday September 9, 2020 in San Diego near 70th Street and El Cajon Boulevard as Kiana Taylor and Casey Hargis.  The two women were in a 2015 Ford Fusion stopped at a red light, waiting to turn left from El Cajon Boulevard onto 70th Street, when a Mercedes-Benz E400 struck them from behind at high speed.  The force of the impact pushed both vehicles into the westbound lanes, where they were both struck by three vehicles — a Nissan Rogue SUV, a BMW and a Honda Civic — causing the Fusion to catch fire.  Sadly, Ms. Taylor and and Ms. Hargis suffered fatal injuries. Six other individuals involved in the car crash were taken to hospitals with unspecified injuries.  An investigation into this fatal accident is ongoing.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the family and friends of Kiana Taylor and Casey Hargis.
