Love being active, playing sports, as well as spending time outside Enjoy learning and helping others succeed together RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform framing, demolition, and structural repairs for remodel projects Install and finish trim, doors, windows, tile, cabinetry, and flooring Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Measure, cut, and shape materials (wood, drywall, laminate, etc.) with precision Ensure work meets local building codes and safety standards Effectively collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients on job progress Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Troubleshoot and problem-solve unexpected issues that arise during remodels (older homes often have surprises) Properly maintain and care for tools and equipment Assist with company business activities, events and initiatives SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS: 5 to 10+ years of experience in remodeling, renovation, or general carpentry Proficiency with hand and power tools (saws, drills, nail guns, levels, etc.) Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs, climb ladders, and work in various positions (kneeling, bending, overhead work) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship Good communication skills and a professional, client-facing demeanor Valid Driver's license is required Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10/30 certification Experience with custom cabinetry, tile work, or finish carpentry Basic knowledge of plumbing/electrical for coordination purposes House Doctors is a professional handyman and home improvements company known for the one‑stop shop that can handle a variety of jobs from small home repairs to full remodels, and commercial maintenance, rental make‑ready and tenant build outs in the St Charles county and West County areas for 18+ years.
