This position focuses on the installation of key components—such as decks, liners, consoles, leaning posts, and other fabricated parts. If you're detail-oriented, take pride in your work, and enjoy being part of a team that delivers excellence, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll DoAssemble and install structural and cosmetic components of our boatsUse a variety of hand and power tools including tape measures, razor knives, screw guns, drills, and ratchetsIdentify and correct defects, ensuring all work meets Freeman's quality standardsWork independently and as part of a team to meet daily production goalsPerform fiberglass grinding and cutting to fit parts as neededAssist with minor lamination workWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience in assembly or hands-on mechanical work preferredAbility to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. without assistanceComfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment (may include sun exposure)Able to climb stairs, ladders, and ramps to safely access boats and equipmentDetail-oriented with good problem-solving skills and the ability to stay on taskExperience using hand tools and following written/verbal instructionsStrong safety awareness and willingness to wear PPE (eye/ear protection, gloves, etc.)Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand, walk, lift, kneel, and bend for extended periodsMust be able to work a 10-hour shift or longer, including overtime when neededExposure to loud noise, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and fiberglass dust is commonUse of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and providedWhat We OfferCompetitive payPaid time off and holidaysGreat benefits—medical, dental, vision, company-paid life and disability insurance, and more!401(k) with company matchA people-focused workspace with an emphasis on team collaboration and industry innovationPlease note: Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
